In this article we will talk about online presence ideas that you can use to create a passive income. Now without wasting any more time, we will go straight into the points of the day.
Idea #21. Make Money with a YouTube Channel.
One of the ways that you can make a passive income with online presence is a youtube channel. I know most of you by now are wondering how is youtube a passive income stream? Isn’t youtube an active job that you need to be working through almost every day? The answer is no. Not unless you want youtube content creation to be your full time work, it doesnt have to be. You do not have to do youtube content creation as your full time work.
You can make it that every week you only post 2 videos. Meaning that every week you only spend a maximum of 3 hours only for youtube. That sounds like a passive income stream to me. You keep uploading those 2 videos per week. Youtube ranks your videos, you get views and end up making money with it. You know most of those big content creators do not upload multiple videos per day or a video every day. They only upload a few but those few videos are of maximum quality.
Idea #22. Create a Blog or Niche Website and earn with it.
This is another one just like youtube above. Owning and operating a blog or a niche website can either be active work or passive income depending on you. If you want to do it on daily basis as fulltime work then it is active source of income. If you want to do it on a few days per week or per month, then it is a passive income.
Say for example if you decide that every week you will post only one article on your blog or website, this can be a passive income. You do not have to spend your entire day or week on your blog. Thus you only spend a few minutes per week and create an additional income stream.
Some of the ways that you can monetize your blog is through ads like google adsense, affiliate marketing, dropshipping, selling merchandise and selling services.
Idea #23. Podcasting as a source of income stream.
Another great online presence idea to create passive income is through podcasting. Again like i have said for blogging above, podcasting can be active full time work or a passive income stream. It all depends on how you want to do it. If you want to spend every day on your podcast talking to your audience its up to you. However, if you want to do podcasting as a passive income idea, then you can do it a few days.
You can make it such that you only make just one episode per week or maximum of 2 episodes per week. This way, you make podcasting a passive income stream. This means that you do not spend the most of your week on it. Yet it is bringing you a lot of money passively.
The way you can monetize your podcast is through ad revenue, sponsored content, brand deals, selling your own products, selling your own services and so much more.
Idea #24. Affiliate Marketing.
Affiliate marketing is another major passive income idea that you can make money with. For those about to say that affiliate marketing is not a passive income stream, let me explain. You do not have to do it full time. Moreover, you do not have to do it every day. You can just set it up and then keep getting a passive income flow. For example, if you have an active social media profile, all you need is place your links on your profiles and let people keep buying.
The one thing that matters the most when it comes to affiliate marketing is traffic. You need a lot of traffic to be able to sell affiliate products and make money. This traffic is where you get the customers from. If you already have traffic, all you need is place your affiliate links where your audience can see them and click.
Idea #25. Dropshipping.
In addition to all the ideas we have mentioned above, dropshipping is another way that you can create passive income with. Similar to all the other points above, with dropshipping, you can do it as actively or passively. If you do it every day, then dropshipping becomes an active income stream. However, if you choose to just set up the system and leave it running, then it becomes a passive income.
How do you do this? We all know dropshipping is whereby you sell products that do not belong to you. You get products from the dropshipping platforms. Then you sell those products to your customers. When the customers buy the products, you forward the orders to your dropshipping platform. Then the dropshipping platform fulfills the order. To make all this passive in order to make dropshipping passive, you can automate it all. You can build a website or web systems that automate the entire process and hence you do not have to be there personally.
Idea #26. Print-on-Demand.
Finally for today, the last point we are going to talk about when it comes to passive income, is Print-on-Demand. You can make money passively by selling print-on-demand products to your customers across the internet. You can print things like T-shirts, mugs and art prints and sell them online to people who order them. The people tell you what designs they want, you design and then ship out to them. To make this passive, you do not have to be there all day every day. All you need to do is set up a business system like a website whereby the people order. When they order, you print the products and ship out to them.
The biggest most work intensive part of this business model is marketing and getting customers. The best part is that you can automate this part if you have a popular website or popular social media.
