E-commerce on its own appears to be active work. You know something that you need to do actively every day as your full time work. Hence it does not appear to be a passive income. However, that’s not what we are talking about today. We will talk about how you can actually use E-commerce as passive income. We will talk about truly passive ideas as well as semi passive ideas. Here are the E-commerce ideas you can use to generate a passive income.

Idea #45. FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon)
One of the ways that you can turn E-commerce into a passive income is through the use of FBA. FBA stands for Fulfillment By Amazon. What this means is amazon will fulfill the orders for you. Thus when people buy your products, amazon will do the rest for you. This is from accepting payments, shipping the products and delivering the products for you. Hence you do not have to do it by yourself. All of it is done for you.
All you need to do is wrap/package your products properly, then send it to the amazon fulfillment warehouses. Once you send your products to the warehouses, then Amazon will take it from there. This is why we tell you that you can turn E-commerce into a passive income. Of course if you want to sell more you might need to do a little marketing for your products.
Amazon handles storage, shipments and returns for you. You see, its like doing E-commerce on autopilot. Thus you do not have to worry about storage neither shipping nor returns. That’s all done for you.
Idea #46. Subscription Box Service.
Another great way that you can make passive income is through creating a subscription box service. Create a themed subscription box products like snacks, beauty and hobbies. Then build a brand around it online. Once you build the brand, you can sell it online. I know so far this does not sound passive. So let me explain where and how this becomes passive.
You do not have to handle the fulfillment of the services or the products. Yours is to just create the store front, you know the online brand. Once people buy, a third party company does the fulfillment. Of course you will need to make a deal with a third party company that will do the fulfillment. You bring the customers, they handle the sales.
The third party fulfillment company will have to handle the inventory. In addition to that, they will have to deal with packaging. Then finally when you send the customers, they will have to do the shipping. When the sale is made, you get your share.
This E-commerce model creates a great recurring passive income for you.
Idea #47. Wholesale Arbitrage.
Another great way of creating a passive income with E-commerce is through wholesale arbitrage. What you do with is is that you buy products in wholesale bulk or on discount and then sell them later or elsewhere at a markup. You can sell these products on platforms like ebay and amazon at higher prices than you bought them hence making money.
You know how wholesale works right? Wholesale prices are always lower than retail prices. Hence if you buy these products on wholesale you can be sure that you can sell at a higher price on retail. In addition to wholesale, there is another way that you can get the products at a lower price. That is buying during discounts. Sometimes businesses want to get rid of the stock for new ones or they want to make this stock move. Thus they offer discounts to make the buyers buy more than they would normally do. This is where you come in. Buy such discount products and sell them later when the discount is over. Or maybe you can sell on other platforms where there is no discount.
But now i know you are wondering, how is this passive? It feels and seems like you have to do a lot of work. The answer is using automation tools. There are tools that you can use to track prices and discounts and they let you know when the prices are good. These automation tools will not only help you with price tracking but also inventory management. In addition, the automation tools can help you with things like order management hence making the whole process more passive.
