Hi and welcome back again to another part of this long-running multipart series about passive income ideas. This is the 10th part of this multipart series about passive income. In this part, we will talk about creative and artistic methods of creating a passive income. Before we get down on it, lets first mention the previous parts. If you have not read the 9 previous parts, you can read them below.

In the 9 previous parts, we talked about 50 passive income ideas. In today’s part, we will pick up from idea number 51.

Creative and Artistic Monetization Passive Income Ideas.

Idea #51. License Your Artwork.

One of the ways that you can create a passive income through your art is by licensing your artwork. Not selling. When you sell, you only make a one time income. However, if you license it out, you get to make continuous income. Let those who want to use your art license it for a certain use while you retain the rights. This means that you can license the same art to so many people over time. However, if you sell the art, you only make a one time payment and that’s it.

Good art will always have demand. Say you created a great piece of art, there are all kinds of entities that would want it. These include media houses, bloggers, art museums, content creators and all other kinds of entities. All this can be a great source of continuous passive income for you.

You can use platforms like Society6 or Artlist to earn with your art.

Idea #52. Create Fonts or Design Assets and sell.

Do you own a website? Have you ever wanted to use a very specific font for that website/blog? But when you went to get the font you found out that the font wasn’t free? That’s what we are talking about. That font was probably designed by someone for sale to website owners like you. This is an opportunity for people like you if you know how to design fonts.

Not just fonts but all other kinds of design assets. Think of things like website templates, website themes, wordpress themes, website scripts and all other kinds of designs. All these are things in high demand. People and businesses are always creating new websites all the time. Hence these designs will never be out of demand.

Once you design these fonts and templates/themes, you can sell them on platforms like Creative Market or Envato.

Idea #53. Make a Comic or Webtoon with Ad Revenue.

Another great way that you can create a passive income is through making great comics and selling them or licensing them. There are so many people who love comics allover the world. Am not talking about just children only. Comics are loved by all kinds of people and it is a very big business. You design once and live to bring in money for years.

In addition to the comics, you can make webtoons. Webtoons are just like comics except that they are continuous in episodes. You keep releasing your comics through episodes. This means that you get to capture a continuous audience that keeps coming back for more. Every time that you release a new episode your audience comes to watch.

The way that you can make money with these comics and webtoons is through things like ad revenue. You can monetize your content with ads. In addition to that, you can earn money from your comics and webtoons through selling merchandise and platforms like Patreon.

Idea #54. Create & License Animation Loops or GIFs.

The internet is a very interesting place. There are all kinds of people who need all kinds of things. There are businesses and people who need to buy things. Some of the things that you can sell on the internet include animated loops. A lot of big businesses and enterprises need all kinds of content for their websites/businesses. Some of these content that they need is generic while others are specific. This means that you might need to design somethings specific for them.

One of the reasons why they buy these animations and GIFs is so that they can own the licensing. They do not want the content to be used on every other website on the internet. Seeing the same images on multiple websites shows a feeling of cheap. Hence why they buy so that they can be the only ones using and with the content.

Conclusion.

Now you know how to use your Creativity and Artistry to create a passive income. This brings the total number of passive income ideas to 54. Come back again tomorrow for another part of this multipart series about passive income ideas. Tomorrow part will be part 11 and will be about Niche / Oddball passive income ideas. See you tomorrow!
