I have an undergraduate degree in English. I also have an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I believe that reading increases literacy. We are historical creatures. If we are literate then we can move forward. I want to teach ESL or ELL. It’s not important to understand another language. The important part is to know the phonemes. Then a student can become fully developed.
