We will talk about the many ways you can use to make money online. Most of these ways of making money are free so you do not need to spend any money for it. The kind of freedom, flexibility and financial benefits you get from freelancing are unmatched.

For those who are new to freelancing, this is how it works. You go to a freelance website like any of the ones we have listed below. Then you create an account. After you create your account, you polish your freelance profile and portfolio so as to attract the most clients. List offers of the kinds of things that you do so that freelancers can just buy it. Also list all your completed jobs on your portfolio so that they can see your expertise. After all that then go to the freelance jobs page and start sending proposals/bids for the jobs available.

The second method that you can use to make money online is by selling digital products online.

Method#4. Blogging.

Another method of making money online that many people don’t talk about as much is the blogging. Blogging is writing and publishing content such as article online on a site referred to as a blog. Like this one that you are reading right now is a blog. But now you are wondering how does writing content make money. The way you make money with blogging is through ads, paid content or making sales. Lets breakdown each.

With ads, you sign up to advertising platforms like google adSense and get your blog accepted. From there, google will give you a script that you will add to your website. This script is what will be feeding ads to the people visiting your blog. Once the people have been fed ads, google gets paid by the advertiser. In return, google pays you for the ads displayed on your website.

With paid content, some businesses, brands or companies might pay you to post content on your blog. This content that they pay you to post, contains promotion/marketing for their brand/product/services. For example i can pay you to post an article on your blog talking about my business then i pay you. The whole idea behind this is for you to market my business for me on your blog. In exchange i pay you for it.

With sales you simply sell your own products and services on your blog. Lets say for example you are an online tutor, you can use your blog to promote your online tutoring business and get customers. You can even integrate payment systems on your blog and accept payments right there. If you sell digital products like we have discussed above in method #2, you can sell them on your blog.

Method #5. Content Creation for Social Media like YouTube and TikTok.

When most social media began many years ago, there were no means of earning. Social media platforms did not allow people to make money. There was no ad revenue sharing. Similarly there were no opportunities like selling products. This meant that social media was strictly a platform of entertainment. However, these days, things have changed to a point that social media has become a method of making money online. So how does this work?

It is very simple. This applies both for YouTube, TikTok and any other social media platforms. The ways this works is that you make content, post it on your profile and make it public. When you do that, many people from allover the world will watch your video. As these people watch your video, YouTube or TikTok or any other social media, is playing ads. Thus the ads play alongside the video. Either in the beginning, anywhere within the video or at the end of the video. When these ads are played, YouTube/TikTok gets paid by the advertiser. Then YouTube/TikTok pays you a share of that ad revenue. That’s how you make money by creating content for social media.

In addition to the ad revenue, there are many other ways of making money with your social media. You can post content for brands and other advertisers. You can make promotional content for businesses and publish.
