I am a project management and planning graduate, with extensive skills in proposal writing, organisation development, creative thinking, advocacy and strategic planning. I wrote a proposal to the government of Laikipia on indigenous cultural event which wa meant to foster discourse around peace building through cultural empathy. The Laikipia Indigenous Technology Fair is now a fully fledged project done annually with fiscal allocations from the government. I am the founder and executive director of a community based organisation called Empower Pastoralists Organisation of Kenya where I rolled out advocacy projects to help the vulnerable young girls in Samburu county, crippled by retrogressive cultural practices to overcome gender based violence through education. I have nurtured seven community based organisations that are now implementing fully funded projects courtesy of my proposal writing skills.
