I am presently a Procurement manager
I sources products and services for my company, Negotiate contract, I create a buying strategy that takes into account the company budget and necessary supplies and then they find matching vendors. Expedite contract, and keep records of suppliers for future procurement and payment . I also measure vendor performance in terms of quality, quantity , delivery time etc I also make research on alternative raw materials, office supplies , etc that may be needed for future procurement. I also ensure our existing supplier are early inform of our future plan (early supplier involvement) In other to avoid operations stoppage, loss of good will. Etc.
