As a photo editor, my main responsibility is to enhance and improve the quality of photographs. I work with digital images that are either taken by professional photographers or submitted by clients. My job is to take the raw image and use my skills and expertise to make it look better. My tasks include adjusting the color, brightness, and contrast of the image, removing blemishes or imperfections, cropping or resizing the image, and adding special effects or filters. I use photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or GIMP to perform these tasks. In addition to technical skills, I also need an eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics. I should be able to identify what makes a photo visually appealing and apply that knowledge to my work. As a photo editor, I may work for a variety of clients, including photographers, marketing agencies, graphic design firms, or individuals. I may work in-house or as a freelancer. If I'm a freelancer, I promote my services on social media.
