My name is Nieke I’m 29 and addicted to reading (I know; it’s absolutely wonderful). I love seeing new authors share their work with the world but often find myself wishing I’d had a chance to just read their material before it wash published online as a lot of young/new authors make simple mistakes that can lead to their work being hard to read or even heavy to read, causing the joy and adventure or information to be lost or misunderstood. I have a keen eye for these kinds of mistakes or mishaps and enjoy reading and re-reading materials, correcting or adjusting as I go, making suggestion or rephrasing a sentence in a way that is easier to consume (I would say understand but let’s be honest; we don’t read to understand, we read to consume) and grasp. It’s always sad when a great storyline is muddled by simple mistakes. Or is that just me?
