Freelance Proofreader
I have always had the ability to spot spelling and grammatical errors hidden among the books and articles I've read. I would say that it is actually a pet peeve of mine to see typos and not be able to correct them. Friends and coworkers of mine have asked me to proofread and edit emails and school papers before submitting. Sometimes others may find it irritating when I notice mistakes and may call me obsessive any time I feel the need to correct the issue. Fixing them gives me a sense of satisfaction and tranquility. I have spent the last twelve years teaching children in an early childhood education center. I have helped them learn to read and write in preparation for kindergarten. I take pride in my work and abilities.
