Copy typing is, quite simply, very detail-oriented. I a great copy editor as I'm a sticklers on the very finest points of the language and go through every article they review with a fine-tooth comb. Depending on the service required by my clients from me, Copy typing involves working from handwritten, printed or typed documents. Audio typing requires speedy typing as you listen to a dictated tape. Shorthand typing is the most specialised of the three. I will take notes at conversation pace which can then be typed up properly later.
