Formulating workshops and sessions on different thematics is one of the favorite parts of my journey. There are some skills that I believe I can bring to this position. Currently, I am working as a Consultant with the Society for Women's Action and Training Initiatives (SWATI). My task is to conduct field research in rural Gujarat to develop a scalable model of rural healthcare initiatives that can help in decreasing gender-based violence. I am also a Peer Committee member with the Nepal project of Peace Brigades International, where I advise women human rights defenders on security issues and on violence prevention. Previously, I was a programme coordinator for The Access Project and the Learning Communities project with The YP Foundation. While the former project focuses on increasing young people's access to SRHR and mental health services, the latter works for building the Feminist leadership skills of young girls across Delhi and Jharkhand. I have completed my Fellowship for The YP Foundation as well as for Light Up- Emotions Matter Foundation, and in those capacities; I have gained a lot of grassroots experience in content creation and research which can make me an asset for the roles being offered. Further, I have been engaged with both primary and secondary research for a plethora of content creation initiatives that I undertook as a part of my undergraduate curriculum. I have also worked on Graphic designing in my internship with Samarthya. I have been a translator for the International PMDD Association. Finally, I have been a research Intern for The Queer Muslim Project, and with that, I worked on their website and blog creation. As a Fellow for the YP Foundation, I was a facilitator for a group of young people, teaching them Comprehensive Sexuality Education. I am a TARSHI trained CSE/SRHR facilitator. I am also a Board member for Rangeen Khidki Foundation, and have freelanced with them to create modules on Gender and related themes. I am also proficient in English, Hindi and Urdu, and have translation certificates in all three. I have primary proficiency in German, Pashto and Persian. I would be happy to learn any other skills that will be needed for me to fit in the role better!
