Software Engineer/Data Scientist
I have a Ph.D. degree in the Computer Science field from the University of Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur, which is ranked below #100 in Computer Science subjects by QS World University ranking 2018. During my study at UM, I learned how to publish high-quality academic articles and present them at prestigious conferences. In March 2022, I quit working for MIMOS BERHAD as a Senior Staff Researcher. MIMOS BERHAD, Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s national Applied Research and Development Centre, and it is a strategic agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). The focus of my research in MIMOS BERHAD was opinion mining using Neural Network models and text stream framework. Before MIMOS BERHAD, I was a lead data scientist at YTL Communications, Kuala Lumpur. My strong programming and mathematics background helped me to design, implement and deploy many machine-learning and deep-learning models for Malaysia's largest telecommunication provider.
