Diesel mechanic and Code 14 driver
I am a 35 years old South African and by profession I'm a diesel mechanic(trade tested with red seal) and who obtained a code 14 driver's license with PDP. I have been working for a bus company named GABS ltd pty as a diesel mechanic since 2013. And I'm also a standby heavy vehicle driver. My job includes but not limited to: Diagnosing of faults. Fault finding with diagnostics equipment. Inspecting and safety checks on vehicles. Repairs and roadtesting vehicles. Disassembling and assembling of components. Servicing of vehicles. Preparing vehicles for road worthiness and taking vehicles to the testing centres. Recovering of breakdowns on the road.
